For anyone that actually misses me or might be interested why I'm away from TS & the game, I have a very ill dog. Ruby our Golden Retriever is very ill & I am tending to her & spending as much time as needed to take care of her. I will be around if needed, just PM me on the site & I will respond back. See everyone when I can, grampa.

After many days of trying to get the dog better I took her to the vet & we found out that her kidneys had shut down a few days ago. So long story short we had her put to sleep today to stop her suffering. I will be on as soon as I can get the gf calmed down & functional again. Thank you all for your well wishes but she was terminally ill. See everyone soon, grampa...

That they do Hillbilly it sucks to have to let them go, but it was the best thing to do. She isn't in any pain anymore. She is freed from her earthly body, but she will forever live on with our family in our hearts and memories.

Im gonna miss that crazy dog.

A Dog's Prayer
By Beth Norman Harris

My Beloved Master, for not heart in all the world is more grateful for kindness then the loving heart of me. Do not break my spirit with a stick for though I should lick your hand between the blows, your patience and understanding will more quickly teach me the things you would have me do. Speak to me often, for your voice is the world's sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when your footstep falls upon my waiting ear. When it is cold and wet, please take me inside...for I am now a domesticated animal, no longer used to the bitter elements...and ask no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth...though you had no home, I would rather follow you through ice and snow than rest upon the softest pillow in the warmest home in all the land...for you are my Devoted Worshipper. Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for although I should not reproach you were it dry, I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst. Feed me clean food that I may stay well, to romp and play and do your bidding, to walk by your side and stay ready, willing and able to protect you with my life, should your life be in danger. And Beloved Master, should the Great Master see fit to deprive me of my health or sight, do not turn me away from you. Rather hold me gently in your arms as skilled hands grant me the merciful boon to eternal rest...and I will leave you knowing with the last breath I draw, my fate as ever safest in your hands.

A Dog's Prayer 2
To Those Who Love & Those Who Love Me

When I am gone, release me, let me go-
I have so many things to see and do.
You must not tie yourself to me with tears,
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you have each shown.
But now it is time I traveled alone.
So grieve awhile for me if grieve you must,
Then let your grief be comforted by trust,
It is only for a while that we must part,
So bless the memories within your heart,
I will not be far away, for life goes on,
So if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can not see or touch me, I will be near.
And if you listen with your heart, you will hear
All my love around you soft and clear.
And then, when you must come this way alone,
I will greet you with a smile and "Welcome Home".
